A godfather of the West coast rave scene, Martin has been playing house music since its inception in the mid-’80s and has more than a few sets that are required listening (start with his 2001 “Essential Mix” on BBC’s Radio 1, or a 1991 set at the L.A. rave Gilligan’s Island), and this weekend he spins for three hours in St. Petersburg to help Brian Busto and DJ Three close out their Serious Soul x Hallucienda residency.
