The 34-year-old local staple has multiple venues, after all: One on N Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, and another at The Grove in Wesley Chapel. Later this year, Side Splitters adds a third on the other side of Tampa Bay, at the Sundial shopping center in downtown St. Pete. St. Pete is a great market, owner Brian Thompson told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay. As it continues to grow, I feel it s a market that could use a club. Side Splitters Comedy Club’s new St. Pete location will have some features that mirror the other two locations, like convenient parking, an open mic night and spots for local comedians to perform on weekend shows.
